Dear Artists We have an exciting new studio centre with available studios: The Studios: We have 27 studios available in our new studio centre, Proposition Camden. 24 of these studios are brand new, purpose built with white walls and a concrete floor. There are windows on all sides wrapping around the building. The studios are on the 4th floor, with lift access and a communal area with a panoramic view of the city that is preserved for studio artists. There are five studio prices, based on size: £230, £280, £340, £370 and £430 per calendar month. Access is 24/7 Location and Transport: Our buildings are situated at 100 Chalk Farm Road NW1 8EH, immediately to the south of The Roundhouse, in the heart of Camden. They are 10 minutes walk from Primrose Hill and 6 minutes drive to Hampstead Heath. The studios are 2 mins walk from Chalk Farm Station and 9 mins walk from Camden Town Station. Buses that stop immediately outside are: 31, 27, 168, 393, N5, N27, N28 and N31 Proposition Camden Arts Centre: In this new multidisciplinary arts centre we have a performance venue with lounge, a gallery, a lecture hall and a fashion studio. We will have regular music and poetry performance events, art workshops, a monthly fashion workshop, exhibitions of our studio artists’ work, a bi-weekly cinema club, a public lecture series, and some large celebrations during the year. The lecture hall can also be booked for dance practice. We will be conducting some viewings next week in the late afternoon and early evenings of Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri, 21st-24th March.
